The author is using your refund conditions to legitimise their rejection of my refund request. Specifically, they quote: "Please note that according to Envato refund policy, if the purchased item is materially similar to the description provided on our website, and there are no issues with the item itself, the buyer is not eligible for a refund." Careful reading of the reasons I give for requesting the refund centers precisely on this aspect. Being unable to set up a sandbox test, and relying upon plugin descriptors mean that: a) I could not test the ability to use CSS to adjust hardcoded design elements b) I interpreted plugins using the term 'custom fields' would adhere to WP sop that means such fields are open to being applied to any aspect of posts and content - including the actual listing and not just the subscriber c) Custom statuses are applicable only to the booking and not to staff. Again there is no clear statement to this effect. d) Locations plugin is not applicable to future dates - only the current date which makes this a pretty useless addon for any system catering to future books where the staff member may be at differing locations depending on the date. e) To say that this plugin is Elementor ready is being very flexible with the truth. To use shortcodes to include hardcoded elements does not allow for any of the Elementor functions to amend fonts, colors, etc, etc So it is my clearly and firmly held opinion that the information provided in the plugin descriptors is clearly misleading or at the very least incomplete. I therefore made purchase decisions based on inadequate information and an inability to test. In addition to include an Elementor ready tag is frankly bordering on intentional deception. Without prejudice and without in any way accepting the rebuttal by the creator, I propose a compromise whereby the creator processes a refund of 63% of the amounts paid by me (in two transactions) being a refund of US$300 (50% of $393+77). You will note that I am not a first time customer and have never made any claim against past purchases. I look forward to your determination and the opportunity to continue what has, in the past, been a useful relationship.
